Darling Junco

There was a Junco fluttering about while I did chores this morning. He was looking for corn scattered about by the chickens, but I don't think they left any for him! Luckily, him and his friends know there are bird feeders in the backyard.

Also, Willow was in heat today. Her and Prince were very enthusiastic and we should have a very busy second week of May! Quinoa is the only doe left to breed (besides Jellybean who is too young), and then we just have a five month wait for babies. Visit the Kidding Schedule page to see the full agenda :)

These are wonderful pictures of the junco. Glad to hear you're going to have babies in May. We'll have a bunch in March. Then we'll finish in June.

I love juncos. Until I reseed the yard. Then they descend in flocks to eat grass seed (despite the many bird feeders). I have to leave the dogs outside or I swear juncos would overrun the place ;)Stevie @ ruffledfeathersandspilledmilk.com
