So three days ago, it's all everything is melting, it's 60F out and everyone is wearing shorts.
The stream was chock full of water and tree limbs and flailing children (Not really. It was puppies.)
And then it started snowing and didn't stop until we had over a foot of snow in some places and the goats didn't want to come out of the pen.
And I got some dates wrong and Uhura wasn't actually due yesterday. But her ligaments are really mushy and her udder is filling slowly but surely. So she should have them soon. Like in a week. Probably. We'll see what happens, when it happens. But knowing goats, she'll read this and do something completely different. Whatever. Goat babies!!!

Sounds about right. Those kids seem to know the worst times to come. Hope kidding goes well, and I can hardly wait to see the babies.
Oh baby goats on the way! How sweet. Baby farm animals are the best! Love the images at the top of your post. They are mysterious.
Haha! Yes, it seems like just when you think you've got your goats figured out they throw you for a loop--especially during kidding season! Can't wait to see Uhura's babies this year!
Crazy weather this year. Good luck with the babies!
